ミュアーウッズ国定記念物を訪れました。サンフランシスコから１９キロ程のところに有ります。レッドウッドは写真のように非常に高く成長します。
They live long. Some of them were around when there were dinosaurs. Imagining dinosaurs between the trees is exciting.
そして、生命力も強く、非常に長く生きているそうです。中には、恐竜が生きていた頃から存在するものも有るとの事で、木々の間を恐竜が歩いていたと想像するだけでワクワクします。
