Muir Woods National Monument

We visited Muir Woods National Monument, which is 12 miles (19km) north of San Francisco.  There, lots of Redwoods are protected.  They are very tall. 
ミュアーウッズ国定記念物を訪れました。サンフランシスコから１９キロ程のところに有ります。レッドウッドは写真のように非常に高く成長します。

San Francisco Airport

I am back at San Francisco Airport, observing the aircraft departing and landing across the bay.  I have no memory of seeing two aircraft landing together or departing together.  It is certainly a busy airport.  In this photo, two United-continental airplanes are landing and one British Air aircraft is waiting for departure.

私の大好きなサンフランシスコシーフロントパークに戻ってきました。忙しい空港と知っていながら、二機の飛行機が同時に離着陸している様子を見た記憶はなかったと思います。この写真では、ユナイテッド・コンティネンタルの二機が着陸中で、ブリティッシュエアーが離陸指示待ちの状況です。
